Well, today was the day. I got my hair cut.
Lots of it. It doesn't look all that short to me, but she cut off at least 5 inches. I think I am going to REALLY like it though. It will be much quicker to blow dry (worth it just for that!). I opted for a simple bob without layers. I may end up going back to get some layers in the future, but for now this will do. Sometimes layers are horrible if they do them wrong...so I passed this time. You girls will understand...anyways, I took these webcam pics (hence the graininess) for a friend since I was too lazy to go get the real camera. But at least you can get the idea.
She also re-did my highlights. She did an AWESOME job on them. She weaved in a honey color along with the bleach foils, so it's a nice balance. I love love love the color. Too bad the pics don't show it AT ALL. Oh well. You'll just have to wait to see it in person!

It looks AWESOME~~!! and I do understand about the layers, and right length and so on, it's how I got my current disaster- good choice.
one good thing for me though, I get to be a model and get a free coloring (i've never had them done in a salon- so maybe I'll get some justice back from the torture that is my hair) :)

You DID it! I wish I could just get the courage to do it. My hair is a pain in the...well I keep putting it off and I know I'll be happier if I just do but I always seem to find another reason to wait. I'm sure you'll really be glad on these hot summer days. Looks goooooood. Love ya Mels!
