Singin' on the 4th

Hi. I am bored and running out of Jasey pics, so I thought I'd post a little something something. My town was looking for "talent" to perform in the park during the 4th of July celebration. I almost talked myself out of it, but then realized that I MUST apply to do it since I love to sing! Looks like I will be singing about 4-5 songs. I haven't picked them all out just yet--but a lot goes into picking songs! It's tough! I need something that isn't BORING, but not TOO hard to sing, but entertaining, but something I'm somewhat comfortable with...well, you get the idea. Here's some that are up for consideration. Maybe those of you that know my voice can vote for your favs: (Or if you have some good suggestions, I'd love that, too. I'm having a hard time thinking of good ones!)

The Weight has been Lifted!

Well, today was the day. I got my hair cut. Lots of it. It doesn't look all that short to me, but she cut off at least 5 inches. I think I am going to REALLY like it though. It will be much quicker to blow dry (worth it just for that!). I opted for a simple bob without layers. I may end up going back to get some layers in the future, but for now this will do. Sometimes layers are horrible if they do them wrong...so I passed this time. You girls will understand...anyways, I took these webcam pics (hence the graininess) for a friend since I was too lazy to go get the real camera. But at least you can get the idea.She also re-did my highlights. She did an AWESOME job on them. She weaved in a honey color along with the bleach foils, so it's a nice balance. I love love love the color. Too bad the pics don't show it AT ALL. Oh well. You'll just have to wait to see it in person!

Jase's First Haircut

So I finally grabbed the shears and trimmed up all the wispy longer hairs at the nape of his neck. I did pretty good, considering he was sitting on top of the counters and wiggling around like a mad man. I forgot to keep a lock of his hair, though. Gah! Oh well, next haircut I will.We took him outside and let him play in the playpen while we washed our cars in the driveway. He actually LOVED it, but at one point he was crying bc he wanted a bottle...and his little face was so cute and pouty, I had to get a picture.
After he stopped crying, his eyes were really shiny.
These are some of my favorite PJs from Gymboree. They fit him to a "T," and they have those footies on them. I think they make him look more like a baby (so that is the real reason I like them). Hee hee. I am sad that he is growing up soooo fast, so I wanted some pics of him in his "baby" PJs before he outgrows them. Don't cha just want to squish those cheeks?

Little Bookworm

He was being so cute I couldn't stop taking pictures of him. As you can see, we already taught him how to read! What a genius!

To Cut or Not to Cut?

So I was up late the other night and when I was pulling my hair back to wash my face, some layers fell out and it looked like my hair was shorter. I have been thinking about cutting it, so I thought I'd snap a couple pics and take an opinion survey....should I do it?
