Correct folks. My "little" boy is now 5.5 months old and a whoppin' 20 pounds! (I figure this out by weighing myself, then weighing myself while holding him, and subtracting the difference). So ya know, it's unofficial--but last time I did this and I was dead on when he was weighed at the pediatrician's office the next day. So it is pretty accurate in my book. Look at this cute grin!
I took this picture while trying to teach him to roll over. He can only roll from his tummy onto his back. He prefers being on his back, so once this is achieved he babbles with delight and stays there. (By the way, don't those raised eyebrows remind you of anyone??? Ha!)
This perspective seems to create the illusion that his head is big, but it's not. Ok, it is kinda big. Like a tomato. A cute tomato. One you want to squeeze the cuteness out of!
Here's our man in his cool doorway jumper that we borrowed from my friend, Krista. He's growing pretty fond of it.
I thought this was funny because lately when I lay him down like this, he stiffens up and starts grunting like crazy. It is too funny! I just wish I wouldn't have cut his feet out of the picture. Take a look at those cuuuute chubber thighs!

I can't believe how much he weighs! That's great. He's a healthy little man. Izzy just turned 1 and is recently weighing 20 lbs. What a cute little guy!!!!
That's awesome! Avery wasn't quite 20 pounds at her 1 year check-up!She was shy by like 1/2 a pound. He is soooo cute! I love his blue eyes!
he sure is a cutie. don't you just love baby chubs. if jase is 20 lbs then oliver probably is just below. yikes! well, just think how strong our arms are getting. i'm in the process of transferring computers, so once that is done i'll get the pics done and send them to you.

I love all the angle's you get of him amiee, it really helps me to feel like i'm there, and can experience him when I'm not. Only I can't hold him, or smell his little baby smells and so on. DANG! AAAGH, well hopefully he'll still be just as cute in June, and I can see him then and hold him and play with him :)
