Well, I am done. I finished it rather quickly. It's easy reading (guess so if it's for "juveniles"). Ok, it took me quite a few chapters to get "into" the story, but about halfway through it got really interesting. Though I can't say it's the BEST book I've ever read (which is the description many friends gave to me, and then some), it is good. I think it was overhyped for me, so I expected way too much out of the story. However, it's pretty creative writing. I'd give it 3 stars! I just bought her second book in the series, New Moon, and I read 2 chapters already. It starts out MUCH better than book 1. I think the problem with the first book is that EVERYONE (meaning us, the readers) already knows that Edward is a vampire, so it is FRUSTRATING to wait for the main character in the book to figure it out. That is what drove me insane. I hear they books improve as they go. Cool. Oh, I do have to say that whoever designed the books' covers did an awesome job. They really have a look that reflects the story contained inside. I just like the look of them.

Twilight is Finished

what???!!! can't believe you only gave it 3 stars!! I read all 3 books in like 4 days, my husband hated me because I did NOTHING! i know you'll love the next 2, go edward!
I agree w/ Becky. I LOVED these books. I read the first 2 non stop as well and Michael wanted to burn the books. I also like the first one better than the second, but the last one is my favorite.
Amen on the overhype. I just read this book last week since everyone and their dog said it is the best ever. I liked it, but honestly, was a little creeped out, and felt that it was slightly over-hyped. Good to see I'm not the only one!
