I couldn't resist these shots of my baby cakes in a big ol' cowboy hat and his cool UV water shirt.
Don't you just want to eat him up?

Yee haw! Looks like I will get the chance to sing the national anthem during Pioneer Days in Ogden (if you don't know, that is a huge week long rodeo celebration)!!! YAY!!! I am soooo excited! I got a phone call tonight about 10pm from a lady I know in the neighborhood. She had asked me to sing it at a Lacrosse Championship game 2 years ago. Well apparently, another lady who heard me sing it there now happens to be the assistant to the person who runs the entire Pioneer Days celebration. She thought I did an awesome job on it back then. Anyways, when her "boss" asked if she knew anyone who could sing the anthem--she remembered me!! Ha! I was so excited on the phone it was ridiculous. I feel like I'm famous now or something. Heh heh. Ok, I need to chill! Anyways, she'll be contacting me soon to give me details. I can't wait! Weeeeeeeeeeee! This will be the third time I am singing the national anthem in public. The first time was at the Lacrosse Championship, the second time was at a dinner held to honor the county's elected officials, and this time will be the BEST b/c of the huge audience! Yippee! I hope I get a record deal! *wink wink*
She also re-did my highlights. She did an AWESOME job on them. She weaved in a honey color along with the bleach foils, so it's a nice balance. I love love love the color. Too bad the pics don't show it AT ALL. Oh well. You'll just have to wait to see it in person!
We took him outside and let him play in the playpen while we washed our cars in the driveway. He actually LOVED it, but at one point he was crying bc he wanted a bottle...and his little face was so cute and pouty, I had to get a picture.
After he stopped crying, his eyes were really shiny.
These are some of my favorite PJs from Gymboree. They fit him to a "T," and they have those footies on them. I think they make him look more like a baby (so that is the real reason I like them). Hee hee. I am sad that he is growing up soooo fast, so I wanted some pics of him in his "baby" PJs before he outgrows them. Don't cha just want to squish those cheeks?
Another pose in the cutie PJs...
Showin' off those big, blue eyes he got from dad!
I have been working with him on sitting up by himself. This is a picture of the first day we tried it (about 2 weeks ago). Now he is doing AWESOME all by himself. He can sit up for really long periods of time before he topples over.
I just took this pic while we were driving in the car on Sunday. He was being a little fussy, so I climbed into the back seat and pulled out the trusty ol' pickle. Worked like a charm! He power sucks on the pickle like it was his bottle. It is so funny! Mr. Sensitive wanted me to hold it for him since he was being a bit grumpy. I'll let it slide this time...
This is a pic of Roob's nephew and dad.
